Scope of work

- Support the Safety Manager and the Safety Engineer in the steering of their domain.

- Ensure the safe execution, implementation, proper application and effectiveness of the Safety Management Process.

- Implement comprehensive safety strategies, conduct risk assessments, and drive a culture of safety across the project life cycle.

- Contribute to the development of our safety culture to have a significant impact on safety performance.

Responsibilities

- Risk Management: Assess potential risks, creating strategies and requirements to mitigate them, ensuring their implementation in the design and their compliance with safety standards.

- Safety analysis: Realize Hazard analysis, Functional Hazard Analysis, Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis, Fault Tree and define technical safety requirements.

- Safety Requirements Management: track the safety requirements in the design implementation, technical publications, test plans, test procedures and Monitor the V &V activities.

- Safety reports: Perform a Safety Plan, PHA report, safety concept, Safety Case report and Safety Assessment Report.

-New design or design change: In the context of design modification, new projects, technical transformations of systems, the safety engineer shall perform the Safety Impact Analysis, define the safety relevant activities, and estimate effort of the Safety Activities in the form of yellow sheet.

- Accidents/Incidents Management: The current operating system anomalies are analysed and taken into account. The necessary alerts are transmitted by field alert.

- Safety Meetings and audits: The safety specialist participates in or leads the safety working groups, quality audits and safety audits.

- Engineering support: Collaborate closely with engineering, project management, and Business and development teams. Train and raise engineering awareness of the safety approach.

- Standards: Implement Safety Standard, procedures and tools in project development lifecycle management.

- Safety Management Process: Support safety process definition and implementation.

- Perform any other tasks that are compatible with this function.
