Senior Systems Engineer

I am currently working with a Defence client who is looking for an experience Senior Systems Engineer to join the team. This company offers incredible benefits and family flexibility with people at the core of their decisions.

The role:

• On a project-related basis, you will assume technical management for the system solutions to be created based on customer requirements and thus overall responsibility for the technical delivery and performance portion of a program.
• You are responsible for recording and negotiating technical requirements with the customer in military projects.
• You will be responsible for creating the system design, which includes the definition of system elements, interfaces and components for integrated navigation solutions based on customer requirements.
• You check the technical feasibility through feasibility studies, ensuring compliance with standards and guidelines, risk analyses, analysis of production effort and serviceability.
• Your tasks include sharing know-how and developing best practices for the creation, implementation and acceptance of system solutions for other programs.
• You accompany type tests, approval tests and development-related tests.
• You support the service and final acceptance at FAT, HAT and SAT.
  

You are a good fit for the client if:

• You have completed a degree in engineering (ideally electrical or communications engineering) and have already gained many years of professional experience in systems engineering for complex systems.
• You have very good (technical) written and spoken English skills.
• You are familiar with working with system and software designs as well as SysML and you have knowledge of DOORS, Jira and ideally Magic Draw.
• You are communicative, enjoy working in a team and are open to new ideas.
• You have very good abstract and analytical thinking skills as well as a quality-conscious and professionally flexible way of working.
• Independent and well-structured work are among your strengths.
