I am currently working with one of the fastest growing defence companies in the UK to help them find a Senior Safety Engineer to join their Mission Systems team.

The role:

• Conducting safety analysis on company-designed mission support systems, including mission planning systems and tablet-based obstacle warning, navigation and EFB products.
• Producing System Hazard Analysis Reports & System Safety Assessment Reports.
• Maintaining System Hazard Log & Supporting the on-going maintenance, control and configuration management of all documentation and records relating to Mission Systems' Safety Management System

Skills & Experience:

• A minimum of 4 years of Safety Engineering experience
• Experience in software & safety related standards including Def Stan 0056, DO178c, DO254
• Experience of working with common safety engineering tools and techniques
• Experience of system hazard log development and management.

All candidates must be able to obtain SC clearance
